Through it all, my most important job of the day, is as your photographer. Your wedding day is filled with so many fleeting moments, with the most important people of your life, and it all goes by SO fast. At the end of your day, you are left with a good-looking husband, a new last name and many wonderful fading memories. I pledge to capture each of the moments gone by, so that you may cherish them for the rest of your life. After all, these are the photos you will look at over years to come. Admiring the gown you only get to wear for one day, your youth, and even the images of the people who won't always be in your life. These are the photos your children, and grandchildren, will spread out across the living room floor in the decades to come. These are the photos you will have to remember for the rest of your life, and I promise that they will be memorable.
WHY PHOTOGRAPHY BY SHILOE REVAE
A decade ago, my business began with a wedding invitation design and I became OBSESSED with weddings. Everything from the pretty stationary paper, fragrant bouquets and grandma's pocket of tissues, to the stolen secret kisses between the bride and groom, and of course, the dress.
Speaking of the dress, I was a bridal stylist at David's Bridal for 3 years. I know all of the secrets for giving your train the perfect fluff, assisting in properly applying your veil, or finding the bustle buttons on your dress. Not to mention, I am a professional at communicating with large groups of people for photo organization, and telling Aunt Kathy that we love her disposable camera as much as she does, but we want her to enjoy the day too. I'm like a bridesmaid in disguise, who can help keep the schedule in line, hold the tissues, AND capture all the moments gone by in the blink of an eye.

THE DETAILS
When booking your wedding with me, you get a FREE 1 hour engagement session! I think it's a great way to get to know each other, get comfy in front of a camera, and learn more about how to make your day special. Plus the photos are great for save the dates and look great displayed in pretty frames during your reception.
Each couple will receive a complimentary 1 hour meeting 4-6 weeks before your wedding to work out the details of your unique day. It is important to set a realistic timeline, discuss when family members should arrive for portraits and ensure there is enough time to capture the moments you are most excited about. Second Shooters are available for 10 hour weddings at no additional cost, subject to availability.
Photos take 6-10 weeks to receive in full, depending upon your wedding collection and the time of the year. All couples receive a preview on social media to share within 48 hours of the wedding.
Depending on the collection, images are delivered in an online gallery with high resolution download. Applicable collections include a keepsake box with a flashdrive and wedding album. All collections include a print release to print and display your images in the years to come. All details and more are included in your wedding contract.
TRAVEL & DESTINATION
Conveniently located near two metropolitan cities, travel from Sioux City, IA to Omaha, NE or Sioux Falls, SD areas do not typically incur any travel fees. If we end up celebrating well into the late evening, I am lucky to have family in town to crash with!
For Midwest destinations outside of these cities that are within driving distance, additional travel fees will include the cost of lodging for 1 to 2 nights.
CLIENTS COVER:
Round Trip ticket to the destination area.
3 nights stay lodging (2 nights prior to the event and the night of the event)
PHOTOGRAPHER COVERS
Rental Car / Gas / Tolls / Meals
Any extra night accommodations or lodging if I intend to prolong the trip or travel with husband and littles.
TRAVEL DETAILS:

I arrive at the destination area 2 days prior to the wedding.

i.e. A Saturday wedding would be a Thursday arrival.

In the event there are unforeseen circumstances or delays while traveling, an extra day to travel is there as back up.

I would stay until Sunday morning – unless we plan on doing a session the next day.

Typically, I will be doing a bit of traveling around the area after the wedding. I try to bring my family whenever possible so we can see the world together! We can discuss my exact travel plans and dates.

Fortunately, I live by 3 airports that make for different options.

The airports, in order of most convenient, are SUX, OMA, or FSD.
