I'm Shiloe Revae Tramp, founder and owner of Photography by Shiloe Revae (pronounced ruh-vay).

I am the mother to three darlings Kellan, Novella, and Enver. I am also a part-time zoo director of our five furbabies, and am married to my high school sweetheart, Andrew. Chaser of sunset and storms, I am completely addicted to the chaos of motherhood, a lover of the smell of rain & fresh flowers, and forever wandering the earth in pursuit of seeing all of it's beauty.
 

I capture the love language between humans through every stage of life, from "Will you Marry Me?" to "We're having a baby!" and everything in between. I am committed to providing my lovely clients with high quality photographs and a luxurious experience. Whether you are looking for family photos, maternity and newborn sessions, boudoir or wedding photography, I work hard to surpass the expectations of each and every client.

 

From Curiosity grew Passion

My love for photography started long before it became my career. As a kid I almost always had a disposable camera in my hand, documenting everything around me. I was fascinated by photo negatives and the magic of seeing an image come to life after it was developed.

I continued photographing throughout high school for the yearbook and eventually began freelancing and photographing sessions during college to help support my family. More than a decade later, what started as a creative outlet and a way to make ends meet has grown into a lifelong love and passion.

​

Photography also runs quietly in my family. My great grandfather was a hobby photographer in the 1930s and 1940s, and I am lucky enough to have several of his original cameras and prints taken with them. They are some of my most treasured possessions and a constant reminder of how powerful photographs can be in preserving moments for generations.

To this day, I am still endlessly fascinated by the way light and shadows shape an image. I love capturing days as they naturally unfold, preserving moments that will forever be cherished by families long after the day itself has passed. I also love helping women see and celebrate their own beauty through boudoir photography.
 

Life Beyond the Camera
When I'm not working....I am working. I spent Monday - Friday as a  Marketing Director for an architecture firm. For the remaining hours of my day, I get to have the most important job as mom, which includes chauffeuring to practice, rushing to PTA meetings, and building them a magical childhood. I mentioned earlier that I am addicted to the chaos of motherhood, but really I think i'm just addicted to chaos. Since going to college (proud graduate of Briar Cliff University and Western Iowa Tech!) and having my first baby at the age of 18, being a hard worker with ethics wasn't optional - it was required.

And that's how I got to where I am today. I move fast and love hard with passion and heart ingrained into every step of my life. When I am not actually working or traveling, you can find me at home in a messy mom-bun wearing something with little Cheeto finger prints, reading a good book (or lets be serious - binge watching my latest TV drama) and soaking up a whole lotta love from my sweet little family, in which I am so proud to have built.
